Files and local creative tools
Raff reads the folders you open to display their contents and perform the actions you choose. Asset Lens inspects local image metadata. Folder Checkpoints store local manifests and bounded content fingerprints. These tools do not upload your file contents to a server.
Local application data
Folder views, workspace references, layouts, appearance preferences and file-operation receipts are stored locally. Receipts can contain source and destination paths. Optional filing suggestions start disabled and use only the folders you allow. Their settings let you review, export and remove learned choices.
Purchases and licence activation
If purchases are available, Stripe processes checkout. The licensing service records the purchase reference, payment status and licence entitlement. Activation uses a licence key and a device identifier derived from a random value kept in the Mac’s Keychain. It does not need your hardware serial number or the contents of your files. Requests include the network information normally required to operate an internet service.
Keep your licence key private. The receipt page uses a browser cookie to protect access to your purchase details. Licence keys are not placed in page URLs or browser local storage.
This website
This site does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Hosting infrastructure may process ordinary request logs to serve pages and protect the service. Essential checkout cookies are used for purchase fulfilment; an analytics consent banner is not used because analytics are not installed.
External services
Opening a tool, mounted cloud folder, network location or external link may involve the application or service you choose. Those services have their own privacy policies. Payment information entered in Stripe Checkout is governed by Stripe’s privacy policy.
