The preview
The preview is provided for evaluation. The preview supports browsing, local inspection and recovery of eligible operations. File-changing commands remain locked until configured activation is available. Changing files will require a valid licence. Some macOS integration and desktop compatibility checks remain in progress. Review the app’s instructions, use appropriate backups and check the actual outcome of file operations. Finder remains available for system responsibilities.
The licence
The advertised licence is £5.99, paid once, for lifetime use on one Mac. It is not a recurring subscription. A licence permits one active device at a time; deactivate the previous device before transferring activation. Do not share or resell licence keys. The checkout page shows the final price and any applicable tax treatment before payment.
Activation and offline use
Internet access is required for initial activation and periodic entitlement renewal. The app can use a valid signed entitlement during its stated offline period. Keep a copy of your licence key. A revoked or refunded entitlement may stop authorising paid functionality.
Your files
You choose the folders and operations. Workspaces keep references rather than copies. Checkpoints compare fingerprints and are not backups. Undo and Trash restoration depend on file state and availability; they cannot reverse every later change or replace a separate backup. Empty Trash is a separate, confirmed Finder handoff affecting all Finder Trash; permanent removal cannot be undone or restored by Raff.
Compatibility
Raff currently requires macOS 27 or later and Apple silicon. Desktop Shelves are optional preview functionality. Other apps’ Open and Save panels and some system entry points remain controlled by macOS. Future operating-system compatibility is not guaranteed indefinitely.
